LAPD arrest 3 at protest for using tear gas

In Hollywood, the Los Angeles Police Department made three arrests at a protest site, following a reported battery incident at the Hollywood detachment on February 16. Two individuals approached authorities, recounting a physical altercation near a restaurant situated close to the protest area.

The altercation unfolded in the vicinity of the 5900 block of Franklin Avenue, adjacent to the Church of Scientology. This area hosts several restaurants on the north side of Franklin Avenue, directly opposite the church building.

Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement officers acted upon the description provided by the victims, leading to the apprehension of two individuals. While present, responding officers were alerted to another physical confrontation nearby, resulting in the arrest of an additional suspect.
