Family searches for 13-year-old girl and her baby in L.A. County

Authorities in South Los Angeles are actively searching for a young mother, Nevaeh Lorane Martinez (13), and her two-week-old son, D’Angelo Hill, who disappeared on December 10. The critically missing juveniles were last seen on the 1000 block of W. 100th Street around noon, and there is concern for their well-being. The mother and son may be heading to the East L.A. area.

Nevaeh Lorane Martinez is described as a Hispanic female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 60 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She has a cursive writing tattoo on her left face cheek and was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. D’Angelo Hill is described as a Black and Hispanic male, approximately 19 inches tall, weighing 10 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue onesie.

The family has not heard from them since their disappearance. A “critically missing person” is defined as someone in critical need of medical attention, the victim of a crime or foul play, someone with no pattern of running away, a victim of kidnapping or parental abduction, or a person who is mentally impaired to the extent of being unable to care for themselves or poses an immediate danger.
