Blueface removed from LA County jail's general population: report

Rapper Blueface, widely recognized for his hit track “Thotiana,” is currently serving time in a Los Angeles County jail. The 26-year-old artist finds himself in administrative segregation, a situation where he has no cellmate, and his meals are brought directly to his cell. This form of segregation is characterized by limited interaction with others, providing Blueface with a more solitary confinement experience.

In addition to the confined living arrangements, Blueface is granted up to seven hours a day outside his cell. During this time, he can engage in activities such as making phone calls, attending classes, or participating in religious services. This segregation allows for a controlled environment, ensuring minimal interaction with other inmates.

Blueface’s legal troubles escalated when he appeared in court on January 12 for a probation violation related to a 2021 assault case. The rapper had previously pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a shooting incident outside a Las Vegas strip club. As a consequence, he was sentenced to nearly seven months in jail.

According to the available jail records, Blueface’s anticipated release date is set for July 2, 2024. His time in administrative segregation reflects the consequences of his legal entanglements, and the conditions of his confinement are structured to limit social interaction and maintain security within the correctional facility.
